Green Mountain Video Feature – Factory Tours, K-Cup Production, & Green Mountain Going Green

Today I wanted to do a special video feature on Green Mountain Coffee Roasters.  Green Mountain specializes in Organic, fair trade, and gourmet coffees. Green Mountain has put a lot of attention towards marketing K-Cups lately. Green Mountain also owns Keurig who makes the very popular Keurig single serve K-Cup machines.

Green Mountain Factory Tour:

This video offers a brief tour of the Green Mountain roasting and distribution facilities in Waterbury, VT. Green Mountain has a Visitor’s Center and Café in Waterbury, VT. If you’d like to go and learn more about the visitor’s center, visit their official blog: http://www.waterburystation.com/

K-Cups in Production at the Factory:

The next video below focuses on the K-Cups in production at the factory.  It’s really interesting to see the huge amount of complexity that goes into those little K-Cups we use every day.

Green Mountain Goes Green:

The video below shows how Green Mountain is taking steps to reduce their environmental impact, including sustainable farming, energy efficiency, & biodegradable coffee cups.  Green Mountain Coffee Roasters also donates 5% of their pre-tax profits to social and environmental projects around the world and was ranked #1 on the list of 100 “Best Corporate Citizens” by CRO Magazine in 2006 and 2007.

Want to support Green Mountain Coffee Roasters? Buy a Keurig Single Serve K-Cup Machine
